Police in Alice Springs continue to investigate the theft of around $500,000 worth of art from a home in Larapinta in February earlier this year.

Police in Alice Springs continue to investigate the theft of around $500,000 worth of art from a home in Larapinta in February earlier this year.

Detective Sergeant Trent Abbott of the Regional Investigations Division said a home in Warber Court was unlawfully entered between 8am and 5:30pm on Wednesday 13 February.

“The offender/s appear to have forced their way into the home and removed approximately 10 framed pieces and between 300-400 unframed pieces of art,” Detective Sergeant Abbott said.

“Also stolen was a white Toshiba laptop computer and three vacuum cleaners.

“Police again urge anyone who may have any information relating to the theft, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Remember, you can report any information anonymously.”
