Hit and Run/Rock Throwing – Alice Springs

Alice Springs Police are investigating a rock throwing incident which occurred on Larapinta Drive.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren said a youth allegedly threw a rock at a taxi at around 11:40pm on Friday 7 June.

“A 15-year-old male youth was hit by the taxi and received minor injuries,” Detective Superintendent Warren said.

“Police have located three 15-year-old youths who were allegedly involved in the incident and they are assisting with enquiries in relation to the rock throwing and the subsequent collision.”
