Drug Arrests - Wulagi

Police

Drug and Organised Crime detectives have arrested and charged three males with drug offences after executing a search warrant in Wulagi.

163 MDMA pills, about $7,000 cash, six mobile phones and paraphernalia associated with an alleged drug operation were seized along with a small amount of hashish, ATS and cannabis.

Detective Superintendent Tony Fuller said the three males will face the Darwin Magistrates Court today.

“The three males, aged 14, 19 and 27, have been charged with possess and supply of a schedule 2 drug and other related offences.“

Police will allege that the 14 year old was actively involved in the supply of the MDMA to persons in Darwin.

"It is extremely concerning to us that someone as young as 14 years is supplying these drugs to others in the suburbs."

Detective Superintendent Fuller said anyone who has any information in relation to drug offences should contact the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
