Detectives from Katherine and the Major Crime Squad have charged two men over the death of a 30-year-old man in Katherine on Wednesday.

A/Assistant Commissioner Richard Bryson said the two men, aged 24 and 35, have been charged with manslaughter.

“The men have been bailed to appear in the Katherine Magistrates Court on Thursday 4 April.”

Police are calling for witnesses to the incident and urge anyone at Kirby's Bar Wednesday night from 9.00 pm onward to contact Police on 131 444.
