Detectives from the Serious Crime Squad have charged a 26 year-old man with recklessly endanger life as a result of the crash that occurred near the intersection of Tate Place and the Stuart Highway on the weekend.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Matt Allen said the man was bailed to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on Wednesday, August 21.

“The man has also been charged with aggravated assault and drive under the influence of alcohol while holding only a learners permit to drive.”
