Police are seeking public assistance in relation to the suspicious death of a woman who was located in the Todd River yesterday morning.

Detective Superintendent Brent Warren of the Southern Investigations Division urged anyone who may have been in the area of the Todd River between Taffy Pick Crossing and Tuncks Causeway,  from Sunday evening 27 October and 6:30am Tuesday 29 October, who may have seen a woman matching the below description, to contact Police.

“The victim, who is described to be of Aboriginal appearance, was last seen wearing a grey polo shirt with red, white and blue horizontal stripes, medium length yellow basketball shorts and black thongs.

“I urge anyone who may have seen the woman between Sunday evening 27 October and 6:30am Tuesday 29 October, or who may have witnessed any disturbances in the area, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
