Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an incident which occurred in Nhulunbuy Sunday morning.

Senior Sergeant Brendan Muldoon, Officer in Charge of the Nhulunbuy Police Station, said a 30-year-old man was found lying on the Arnhem Road at around 1am Sunday 17 February.

“The man received head injuries and was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital,” Senior Sergeant Muldoon said.

“The circumstances surrounding the incident are at this stage unknown and Police urge anyone who may have seen the man in the area, or who may have any information relating to the incident, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
