Serious Crime Detectives are investigating a domestic violence related incident which occurred in Batchelor late last night.

Detective Acting Superintendent Chris Board said the incident, between a 38-year-old female and a 46-year-old male, occurred at a premises in Meneling Road at around 10pm.

“At this early stage of the investigation, it is believed the woman stabbed the man during an altercation.

“The man was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.”

No charges have been laid at this time.
