Katherine Police have arrested an 18-year-old woman in relation to an armed hold-up at the Paraway Motel last night.

Superintendent Gavin Kennedy said at around 7:30pm the alleged offender entered the venue and walked behind the counter before she threatened staff with a Leather Man Multi Tool.

“The offender allegedly stole a small amount of money from the register before fleeing the area, Superintendent Kennedy said.

“Police arrested the woman a short time later and charged her with aggravated enter a building with intent to commit offence (x3), aggravated assault and stealing.”  Bail is currently being considered.
