Detectives from the Sex Crimes Squad are investigating an incident that occurred in a Woodroffe laneway overnight.

General Duties Officers from the Palmerston Police Station, the Dog Unit and Scene of Crime Officers responded to the incident, which allegedly occurred in the laneway that runs between Capella Court and Altair Court.

Police are calling for witnesses to any suspicious activity in the vicinity of Capella Court /Altair Court Woodroffe around 9.30 pm last night to contact Police on 131444.
