Aggravated Assault Charges

Police

Two men aged 21 and 22 will appear in the Katherine Magistrates Court this morning in relation to the alleged aggravated assault of two men.

Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Board from the Serious Crime Squad said on 8 June the alleged offenders met the two men aged 23 and 43 at a licensed venue in the Darwin rural area.

“The four men returned to a residence in Virginia where the offenders have allegedly seriously assaulted the 23 and 43-year-old.

“Katherine Police located and arrested the two men in Katherine yesterday."
