Aggravated Assault - Alice Springs

Alice Springs Police are seeking public assistance in relation to the aggravated assault of an 18-year-old woman early yesterday morning.

Detective Senior Sergeant Peter Malley said the woman was walking along a footpath on Barrett Drive towards Stephens Road at around 3:35am when she was approached from behind by three males and assaulted.

“The first offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, medium build, approximately 182cm tall and aged in his 20s. He had facial hair and was wearing a black and red baseball cap with a gold sticker. He was also wearing a black t-shirt with grey and white colouring which had an image of a girl standing next to a motorbike.

“The second offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance and was wearing long black pants and a black t-shirt.

“The third offender is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 164cm tall and had black curly hair. At the time he was wearing black shorts and a black t-shirt.”
