Three more arrests for Todd Mall Assaults – Alice Springs

Police have arrested three more youths in relation to an assault which occurred in the Todd Street Mall.

Detective Senior Sergeant Travis Wurst of the Southern Investigations Division said Police have been working hard to arrest these alleged offenders since the incident around 7:20pm Tuesday.

“It is alleged the youths were involved in the assault of a mother and son aged 55 and 20 near the south end of the Todd Mall,” Detective Senior Sergeant Wurst said.

“Two of the youths, aged 14 and 16 have been charged with assault related offences and will appear in court at a later date.

“The third, a 14-year-old male, was arrested today and remains in Police custody assisting with enquiries.”
