Northern Territory Police are investigating a suspicious death, after a body was discovered in a vehicle on Bombing Road in Winnellie this morning.

NTFRS personnel and Police were called to a car blaze about 3am.

“Upon extinguishing the fire, human remains were located in the vehicle.” Said Superintendent James O’Brien.

“A crime scene was immediately established and Detectives from the Major Crime Squad launched an investigation.”
