We are so grateful that Monique is safe and in the care of her family following the terrifying ordeal which has taken place.

Despite being concerned for Monique’s safety, we remained hopeful and held full confidence that the NT Police would find Monique and bring her to safety. We can’t thank the NT Police enough for their efforts over the past few days.

We have been overwhelmed by the many messages of support on social media and it was of great comfort to know the entire community was behind finding Monique. We would also like to thank those members of the public who provided valuable information to NT Police.

As a family, we remain strong for Monique and give her all the support and love to see her overcome this and begin the process of moving on from this ordeal. We ask the media to be respectful of this and understand the need for our privacy at this time.
