NT Police have located the black Audi.

As part of the extensive investigation surrounding the abduction of Monique Edmondson, this vehicle of interest was recovered from an address in Palmerston and is currently at the Police forensic laboratories undergoing testing.

Acting Commander Matt Hollamby said while this particular vehicle has been recovered, Police are continuing to ask the public for urgent assistance to locate Monique Edmondson and alleged offender, Joshua Walsh.

“Major Crime Taskforce Sandstorm has continued throughout the night in an attempt to locate Monique Edmondson and alleged offender, Joshua Walsh.

“The Audi remains a vehicle of significant interest and extensive forensic testing is currently underway as this investigation continues.

“I would like to thank the public and the media for the ongoing collaborative effort in circulating information which continues to bring in calls to Police with information of assistance.

“Police continue to urgently seek this assistance from the public to safely locate Monique.

“The public are reminded that alleged offender, Joshua Walsh is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached under any circumstances.

“If anyone has information with regards to the whereabouts of Joshua Walsh, they should contact Police immediately on 131 444 or Crimestoppers 1800 333 000” Acting Commander Hollamby said.

Anyone with any information which may assist Taskforce Sandstorm is urged to contact Police immediately on 131 444 or Crimestoppers 1800 333 000.

While this investigation remains ongoing, there are no further details available at this stage.
