Public Assistance - Mitchell Street Assault - Darwin

Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance to find a man in relation to an assault which took place outside a Mitchell Street licensed premises in April.

Constable Jen Young said the man in question had been implicated in an assault in the early hours of April 29.

“Police would like to speak with a man who is believed to be 25 to 30 years of age, Caucasian, approximately 175 centimetres tall with a medium build,” Constable Young said.

“He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck and has short, light coloured hair with a rat’s tail. At the time the man was wearing a white t-shirt.

“We believe this person can help us with enquires into an assault that took place at 3.50am in Mitchell Street in which a 25-year-old man suffered a fractured cheekbone.

“We believe the man we are looking for walked up to the male victim and allegedly punched him in the face.
