Northern Territory Police have been conducting Operation Maverick in relation to the supply of drugs in the Darwin area.
During the evening of Thursday the 17th of May, investigating Police executed a series of search warrants which resulted in three people being arrested.
“One of those arrested is a 30-year-old serving NT Police Officer, attached to the Drug and Organised Crime Squad.” Said Acting Commissioner Shayne Maines.
The other two people arrested are aged 22 and 31.
“The matter remains under criminal and disciplinary investigations and no further details will be released at this time.” Said Acting Commissioner Maines.
