Missing Woman Located – Nhulunbuy – Update # 4

Police have charged two males, aged 16 and 20 in relation to the alleged abduction which occurred in Nhulunbuy early Monday morning.

Superintendent James O’Brien said five males were taken into Nhulunbuy Police custody early yesterday morning.

"Three of the male youths, aged 13, 14 and 15 were released without charge,” Superintendent O’Brien said.

“The three boys are to be considered for Youth Diversion in relation to a number of unlawful entries which have occurred throughout the town in recent weeks.

“A 16-year-old male was charged with aggravated assault, deprivation of liberty and possess / use firearm unlicensed.

“The 20-year-old was charged with aggravated assault, deprivation of liberty, drive speed at manner dangerous and drive unsafe motor vehicle.

“Both males have been remanded in custody to appear in court in Darwin tomorrow, 18 October 2012.

“I would again like to thank those members of the public who assisted Police with this investigation."
