Northern Territory Police have located the body of a 24-year-old man who was reported missing from his Palmerston home earlier this week.

An extensive air and land search located the man’s vehicle near Channel Island road late yesterday afternoon.

Next of kin have now been notified and Senior Constable Peter Bound, says at this stage there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death, however an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
