Missing Man - Humpty Doo

Police

Northern Territory Police are looking for an elderly man who has been missing since leaving his Humpty Doo home three days ago.

Acting Sergeant Phil Trenerry said the family of 72-year-old Dino Konatic contacted Police today to say they had not seen or heard from him since about 5pm on Friday.

“Mr Konatic left his home in Humpty Doo on Friday and said he was going to a mechanic in Yarrawonga,” Acting Sergeant Trenerry said.

“The family did not know which mechanic he was intending to visit or if he made it.

“When he left his home he was driving a white, single cab Toyota Hilux with a flat tray and NT number plates 529-408.

“Mr Konatic is 180 centimetres tall and weighs about 100 kilograms with blue-grey eyes and grey hair.

“He is of Croatian descent and speaks English with a thick accent.

“He was last seen wearing dark blue shorts, a blue, long sleeved shirt and sandals.

“Mr Konatic’s family told Police he was in good health but is a little forgetful.

“Police are concerned for his welfare and are asking for assistance from the public to help locate him.

“If you have seen Dino Konatic or know of his whereabouts please contact Police on 131 444.”
