Methamphetamine Seizure - Driver

A 31-year-old man has been charged with Possession of Trafficable Quantity of a schedule two drug and Possession of Tainted Property.

Members from Drugs and Organised Crime Squad executed a search warrant at a property in Driver on 11 December.

Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Schiller said during the course of the search officers located 54 grams of methamphetamine, a large quantity of cash hidden throughout the house, a large quantity of new clip seal deal bags and two mobile phones.

“The man has been charged with possess schedule two dangerous drug – trafficable quantity, supply dangerous drug and posses tainted property.”

He has been bailed to appear in Darwin Magistrate Court on 18 December.
