Northern Territory Police have today charged a 46-year-old man with murder.

Detective Acting Superintendent Travis Wurst said the man has been in Police custody since Tuesday.

“The man was charged with murder after the death of a woman in Alice Springs on Tuesday,” Detective Acting Superintendent Wurst said.

“He has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Alice Springs Magistrates Court tomorrow.”
