A 28-year-old male will be appearing in court this morning to face a murder charge following the fatal shooting in Palmerston on Sunday.

Superintendent Scott Pollock of the Crime Division said the man had been in custody since he was arrested on Sunday afternoon.

“He was charged last night with murder and firearm offences and remanded to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today,” Superintendent Pollock said.
