Serious Crime Squad Detectives are trying to determine the identities of two men who may be able to assist Police with investigations into two incidents on Monday 2 April.

Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Chris Board said the initial incident occurred at around midnight on Sunday night / Monday morning.

“It is alleged that two men, with covered faces, approached a group of men walking along Mitchell Street when a fight occurred.” Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Board said.

"These people also may be able to assist us with enquires relating to a robbery of a 45-year-old man on Gilruth Avenue that occurred outside the Casino at around 2am the same morning.

“I urge anyone who may have been in either area during the early hours of Monday morning, or who may recognise these males, to contact Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
