Hells Angels Member Arrested after Night of Violence

Police

Drug and Organised Crime Detectives are calling for witnesses to an assault that occurred at the Sky City Casino in the early hours of 27 September 2012.

Superintendent Peter Schiller said the man and his unidentified companion allegedly caused $5,000 damage to a motor vehicle in Shadforth Lane by jumping on the bonnet before attending a licensed premises and then moving on to the casino.

“The 36-year-old man began harassing a group of patrons at the casino before instigating a fight.

“Too often these people rely on intimidation and violent behaviour to further their criminal reputation, ironically on this occasion the offender bit of more than he could chew and ended up on his back on the floor before being removed from the premises by security.

“The man he attacked was minding his own business prior to the incident and was treated for minor lacerations at the scene.”

Superintendent Schiller said Police will not tolerate this type of behaviour and are asking that anyone who can identify the male in the dark shirt with the cigarette in his mouth, to contact Police on 131 444.
