Hells Angel Charged with Multiple Offences

Drug and Organised Crime Detectives have charged a 54 year-old man with numerous offences following an investigation into an identity fraud matter. Police will allege that the male was utilising multiple identities in order to receive benefit.

Police will allege the man had previously provided fraudulent identification to Officers.

Detective Superintendent Peter Schiller said follow up investigations uncovered a small amount of methamphetamine and a prohibited weapon.

“The man is a member of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang and has been charged with criminal deception, presenting forged documents, making a false statement, drive a vehicle while suspended, possess a schedule 2 dangerous drug and possess a prohibited weapon."

“The presence of drugs and prohibited weapons is a cause for concern. Northern Territory Police do not tolerate this behaviour and will target offending of this nature to the full extent of the law.” Detective Superintendent Schiller warned.

The man has been bailed to appear on November 22.
