A 42-year-old man has died after a car crash in Palmerston this evening.

About 6:30pm Police attended the intersection of Temple Terrace and Essington Avenue, Gray, after a vehicle rollover.

“Officers pulled the driver from the vehicle.” Said Sergeant George Matthews.

“St Johns Ambulance members commenced resuscitation and conveyed the man to Royal Darwin Hospital where he later died.”

“Early indications suggest speed may have been a contributing factor, however Major Crash Investigators will determine the exact cause of the fatal crash.” Said Sgt Matthews.
