Alice Springs Police have today arrested a second person wanted in relation to allegedly attacking a camera crew and damaging property at an inner city hotel.

Officers arrested the 24-year-old woman this afternoon.

The 26-year-old female co-offender has been charged with aggravated assault x 3, criminal damage x 3 and one count each of robbery and stealing.

“It will be alleged the women entered the Aurora Hotel and damaged equipment in the reception area before assaulting staff and stealing alcohol.” Said Superintendent Michael Potts.

“CCTV footage gave Police the best chance of identifying those involved; and thorough efforts by Officers tracked down the accused.”

“Investigations are continuing to determine the exact events leading up to the women allegedly attacking the camera crew and causing the disturbance.” Said Supt Potts.

As the 24-year-old woman is being interviewed, no further information will be released at this time.
