Cannabis Arrest - Palmerston

Police

A 40-year-old woman has been arrested for drug offences after Officers from the Palmerston Tactical Team executed a search warrant at a Moulden residence.

Following intelligence as part of Operation Crown, PTT Members raided the house just before midday yesterday, in relation to the alleged supply and possession of Cannabis.

“Cannabis was located throughout the house including under a pool table, in a freezer, behind a television and in a coffee grinder.” Senior Constable Brendon Hogan said.

“The drug dogs have again proven there’s nowhere for offenders to hide their drugs.”

More than 83 grams of Cannabis and 2340-dollars in cash was seized.

The woman has been charged with Possessing a Trafficable Quantity of Cannabis, Unlawfully Supplying Cannabis and Possessing Tainted Property.

She will appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court on February the 9th.
