Call for Assistance – Arson – Alice Springs

Alice Springs Police are calling for public assistance in relation to an arson incident that occurred on Sunday morning 25 November.

Detective Senior Sergeant Travis Wurst said shortly after 2:30 am Police attended a report of a fire on McMinn Street.

“Upon arrival, two vehicles were located ablaze out the front of a house. The fire had spread to a nearby house but was extinguished by NT Fire and Rescue before any significant damage was caused to that building.

“Two men have been arrested and charged with four counts of arson and unlawful use of motor vehicle. Both will appear in Alice Springs Court today.”
