Arrest for Possession and Supply of Cannabis - Darwin

Police

Drug and Organised Crime Detectives have seized 196 grams of cannabis, more than $2,000 cash and items consistent with the supply of drugs after raiding a house in Moulden.

“A 39 year-old man was charged with the supply of cannabis, possessing a trafficable quantity of cannabis and the possession of tainted property in the form of cash that Police will allege is profit from the sale of drugs.”  Detective Superintendent Peter Schiller said.

Detective Superintendent Schiller added that while they were observing the residence prior to the raid, a vehicle had visited briefly and was later stopped by Police.  The 46 year-old male driver was issued with a drug infringement notice after a small amount of cannabis was allegedly found in his possession.

The 39 year-old was bailed to appear on November 23.
