Alleged Gun Thieves Arrested - Charges

The fifth man allegedly involved in the theft of firearms from a supply store in Berrimah is to appear in Court this morning.

Senior Sergeant Mark Stringer said the 29-year-old man contacted Police around 11am Sunday morning and was subsequently arrested at a home in Bagot Community.

The man has been charged with aggravated unlawful entry, stealing and property damage and was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Magistrates Court today.

Police have located the two outstanding firearms.
