Police have obtained approval from the family to release the name of the 25-year-old man who died in Coolalinga on Saturday morning. Levi Timothy Griffiths of Moulden was found near the Stuart Highway opposite the United Service Station. Investigations are still continuing in to the circumstances surrounding his death.

Police believe the crash may have occurred on Girraween Road, near Mahaffey Road in Howard Springs. This area does not have any street lighting, and police are interested in determining the nature of this crash.

Police are urging the public to be vigilant and on the lookout for a damaged car that may have a broken windscreen or a sudden unexplained change in someone's vehicle use over the weekend.

Anyone who may have any knowledge or involvement in this incident is requested to come forward as any information may assist police with investigations.

Police are also calling for witnesses who may have seen Mr Griffiths walking along Girraween Road between 12:00 am and 6:00 am on Saturday morning.

He was wearing black tracksuit pants, white shoes, and a black shirt with red panels down the sides. On the back of the shirt, in white writing, were the words "TEAM DYNAMIK"; which is a Holden shirt.
