Motorists are urged to take care on roadways as water in some areas continues to rise.


Crater Lake Road, Batchelor ,15 metres from Batchelor Road - approximately 30cm of water over the road Stuart Highway / Tortilla Flats turnoff - water is approximately 1 foot deep at present Road closures: Daly River Road between between Nauiyu Community turn-off and Daly River Causeway Litchfield Park Road closed due to flooding at Lower Finnis River Crossing. Significant fluctuations in water levels are being reported, as Survey and Rescue crews continue to monitor the situation. Police again remind motorists to exercise extreme caution and keep off the roads if possible. The public is urged to keep away from swollen waterways and storm water drains.
