Police are calling on assistance from members of the public in relation to an unlawful entry that occurred on Monday.

It is believed that the home on Sanderling Street in Wulagi was unlawfully entered sometime between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm by two males who gained access through a window.

A computer and other electronic devices were stolen from the residence.

Acting Sergeant Alan Brown said that this was a great example of a Territorian's initiative in securing his property.

"The victim in this case had installed a CCTV system in his home due to several unlawful entries that had occurred recently.

"I'm impressed with the level of security used by this resident. I hope it will help in identifying these offenders and subsequently bringing about a swift arrest.

"The two males were captured on the cameras and I urge anyone who may recognise them, to contact us on 131 444" he said.
