Police are investigating an unlawful entry that occurred in Alice Springs this morning in which numerous items were stolen.

It is alleged that unknown offender/s entered a residence on The Fairway between 8:00 am and 11:00 am whilst the home was empty.

Senior Sergeant Siiri Tennosaar said the home owner returned home at around 11:00 am and noticed the laundry door was wide open.

“It was reported that the offender/s stole an iPad and iPhone, DVDs, sunglasses, jewellery, several bottles of alcohol, a laptop computer, a sum of cash and a quantity of prescription medication,” said Senior Sergeant Tennosaar.

“Police urge anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between those times, to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
