NT Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred at the Killarney Cattle Station, approximately 260 kilometres south west of Katherine off the Buntine Highway, last night.

Police received the report shortly before 8:00 pm. Local Police from Kalakaringi and Yarralin attended the scene late last night.

The 24-year-old female passenger has died as a result of the crash.

The 24-year-old male driver was found dead in the vicinity of the crash but his death is not believed to have occurred as a result of the crash.

There is no further information available and investigations are continuing.

The deaths do not contribute to the Territory road toll as they occurred on private property.

The Territory road toll remains at 32.
