Teen faces court for breaks - Alice Springs

A 14-year-old boy will face court on 49 charges relating to a series of unlawful entries in Alice Springs .

Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit  arrested the boy yesterday morning after fingerprint hits implicated him in relation to eight unlawful entries. Further investigations led to charges being laid in relation to another  two unlawful entries and he was also charged with breach of bail.

Police allege the incidents occurred from between October last year and August this year. He has been charged with 49 charges including unlawful entries, stealing, criminal damage and interfering with a motor vehicle.

He has been remanded in custody to face the Youth Justice Court on Friday.
