NT Police and the Fire and Rescue Service were called to a structure fire in Rapid Creek last night.
Authorities were called a house on Ryland Road at a about 6:30pm after receiving reports of flames and explosions at the premises.
On arrival members observed a garden shed fully ablaze with the flames spreading to bushes in the adjacent property.
A short time later the Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene and extinguished the blaze while Police diverted traffic.
The shed is believed to have contained multiple flammable liquids which are believed to have caused the explosions.
At this stage the fire is not being treated as suspicious, however, Fire Investigators are currently at the scene to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
