A 45-year-old man has been arrested following a stabbing at a camp near Ti Tree overnight.

Police received a report just after 11pm that a 48-year-old man had been stabbed at Six Mile Camp. The victim was taken to Ti Tree Clinic for treatment and police arrested the alleged offender. He has been charged with aggravated assault and has been bailed to appear in the Ti Tree Magistrates Court on May 25.

Police were also called to Mt Nancy Camp just after 1.45am this morning following a report that a 28-year-old woman had been stabbed in the chest and leg by her husband. The woman was taken to Alice Springs Hospital and the 30-year-old alleged offender was arrested.

He is expected to be interviewed later today.
