A 22-year-old man will appear in the Alice Springs magistrates Court tomorrow after allegedly sexually assaulting a three-year-old girl in Tennant Creek at the weekend.

Police received a report that the girl had been sexually assaulted at a residence in the town on Saturday.

Investigations led to the arrest of the alleged offender and he has been charged with sexual assault of a child under 10.
