NT Police are continuing their search for a 54-year-old man who went missing at Galiwinku yesterday.


The missing person is believed to have gone fishing by himself at Mission Beach about 8:00am yesterday and has not been seen since.


A search for the man was conducted last night, by Police and family members after the man did not return home. A more extensive search was initiated at first light this morning, with local Police, Territory Response Group officers and community members conducting air, land and water searches of the area.

Anyone who may have further information in relation to the mans disappearance is urged to contact Police on 131 444.
