School vandalised – Alice Springs

Police are investigating an incident in which the Larapinta Primary School in Alice Springs was vandalised at the weekend.

Police received a report just after 8am on Saturday three windows had been smashed with rocks and another 10 had graffiti painted on them. Members of the Property Crime Reduction Unit are investigating and hope to identify the offenders through the graffiti tags. No entry was gained to the premises.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen any suspicious activity in the area between 6.30pm on Friday and 8am on Saturday to come forward.
