Police received the report just after 7.30pm after a hold-up alarm was activated. The 20-year-old female employee victim informed police she was approached by a man wearing a hoodie over his head who threatened her.
The man demanded money and the victim emptied the till into a plastic bag. The offender then left the premises and ran along Knuckey Street

Members of the Major Crime Unit are investigating and are appealing to anyone who may have seen a person matching the offender's description to come forward. The offender is described as being a Caucasian male in his 20s to 30s approximately 175cm tall , medium build and wearing a sky blue hoodie, blue jeans and possibly thongs.
