As Ramingining continues to record impressive rainfall, road conditions deteriorate, rendering most roads impassable. Ramingining Police advise that the road to the airport is now closed due to dangerous washouts. All three pieces of heavy tow and recovery equipment were today stuck for extended periods in the boggy tracks. Parallel Road, leading to Wulka Community, is also unsafe for travel at this time. Gravel rock is being barged in from Darwin on Tuesday and emergency road works will be undertaken in an attempt to repair the Barge Road.
