NTES Volunteers Answer the Call

Police



Last month NTES volunteers gave up their time to help flood victims.

This weekend 10 NTES volunteers and will return to Queensland, this time to cleanup after the damage caused by Tropical Cyclone Yasi.

Tracy Rowe, a full time NTES employee will lead the team of volunteers.

Working alongside Emergency Management Queensland and the Queensland SES, the NTES volunteers will be deployed to Townsville.

In a show of Territorians' wide-spread support, volunteers come from Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs, Katherine and Maningrida.

All 10 volunteers are storm damage specialists and will be assisting both private residences and businesses in Townsville and surrounding districts during their five day deployment.
