Net Closes on Territory's Wanted

Police

Another two people on the Territory’s Wanted list have been located interstate.

A 26-year-old man wanted in the Territory after failing to face court charged with an alleged assault, has since been located in New South Wales.

Territory Police also issued a warrant for a 33-year-old man after he failed to comply with conditions placed on his partly suspended jail sentence.

Authorities have tracked him down in Queensland.

Assistant Commissioner of Crime, Reece Kershaw, says “The results show cross-jurisdictional information sharing between State and Territory Police Forces is working.”

After the processes of the other jurisdictions have been completed, applications will be made for extradition to the Territory.” said Assistant Commissioner Kershaw.
