Missing person- Darwin

Police

Police are appealing for assistance from the public to find a 16-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a fortnight.

Katelyn Fordham was last seen on Friday, September 24, when she told her family she was walking to Palmerston from her home in Boulter Road, Berrimah.

Acting Sergeant Amee Meredith said the girl said she was going to meet friends, but no-one has seen her since that time and police are concerned for her welfare.

“She has had no contact with her family either and we are hoping someone will know here whereabouts,” A/Sgt  Meredith said.

The girl is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, approximately 155 cm tall, 50kg with a thin build, with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
