Police received a report from the man's partner at the weekend after she became concerned that he hadn't returned home after several days. The woman told police he often went walking in the hills around Alice Springs but he had never been gone this long.

Shamus Roepcke is described as being a Caucasian male, aged 22, with a slim build and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue striped singlet and navy blue shorts and runners.

Police are concerned for Mr Roepcke's welfare and have issued his photo in an effort to locate him.
